Tell your followers "comment send and I'll DM you the link" — Envox does the sending. When someone comments a keyword on your post, they get a private message from your account with your text and link buttons, and the conversation appears in your inbox.
Before you start
- An Instagram account connected in Social Connections. It needs Meta's comment permission: accounts connected before this feature show Reconnect this account to enable new features on their connection page — press Reconnect and approve the dialog.
- Every DM sent costs credits (see Credits). AI intent matching and agent replies are billed as AI replies.
- Team members need the view social-connections permission to open the page, and create social-connections to create automations.
Steps

Open Comment → DM
Content Management → Comment → DM in the sidebar. The cards on top show the last 30 days: active automations, triggers, DMs sent, people who replied, and failures.

Choose what triggers it
Press Create and fill in Trigger:
Field What it does Instagram account The account whose posts are watched. Which posts A specific post — pick a published post, or a scheduled or draft post (the automation starts the moment it is published). All posts — every post on the account. Keywords Type a word and press Enter. Any of them triggers the DM. Matching Contains the keyword matches "Send it 🙏" for send. Exactly the keyword needs the keyword alone. Keyword or similar intent (AI) also catches "can you send me too?". Case, Turkish characters and emoji are ignored: GÖNDER, gonder and Gönder 🙏 all match gönder.

Write the DM
Under Message, write the DM message and add up to three link buttons (20 characters per button). The DM preview on the right shows what the commenter receives.
Public reply to the comment is optional: add a few variations and one is posted under each matching comment at random.

Set conditions and replies
- Only for followers — non-followers first get a message asking them to follow, with an I followed ✅ button. Your DM goes out once they follow.
- Agent that answers replies — when the person writes back, this agent answers. With no agent, the replies are saved to the Inbox for you to answer.
Press Save.

Follow the results
The automation page lists every trigger under Triggers: who commented, what they wrote, and whether the DM was Sent, is Waiting for follow, Failed or was Skipped. Open conversation jumps to the chat.
Good to know
- Each person gets the DM once per automation, however many times they comment. Your own comments — including the automation's public replies — never trigger it.
- Instagram allows one DM per comment, within 7 days of the comment. Older comments are skipped.
- On a viral post DMs are queued and sent steadily, so some arrive a few minutes after the comment.
- A trigger marked Not enough credits was skipped; top up and new comments are answered again.
