Brand Guides

Teach the AI your colours, fonts and tone once, so every generated post looks like it came from you.

A brand guide is what stops AI-generated content from looking generic. You point it at something that already represents your brand — your website, a brand PDF, or a set of images — and Envox reads the colours, fonts and tone out of it.

Do this before you generate any posts. Without a brand guide the AI invents its own look and voice, and you will end up rewriting everything.

Before you start

  • Have one good source ready: a live website URL, a brand PDF, or up to 10 images that genuinely look like your brand.
  • Nothing else is required. Posts and reference images come afterwards.

Steps

  1. 1

    Create the guide

Click Create Brand Guide and give it a Brand Name — the name you will pick from a dropdown later, so use the brand, not test1.

    Choose a source

Source Type decides what gets analysed:

    Source Use it when
Website Your site already shows the brand — the easiest and usually the best
PDF You have a real brand book
Images No site or PDF, but you have consistent visuals — up to 10, jpg/png/webp

Prefer Website when you have one. A live page carries colours, fonts and the way you actually write, all at once.

    Wait for processing

The guide is analysed in the background. Status moves from Pending to Processing to Ready — only a Ready guide can be used by a post.

Failed means the source could not be read — a page behind a login, an image-only PDF, or a site that blocks us. Open the guide to see the failure reason, then try a different source.

    Review the extracted rules

Open the guide to read the Generated Rule Template — the colours, fonts and tone the AI pulled out. This is what every post will follow, so read it once and correct anything wrong.

This is the highest-leverage screen in content generation. Ten minutes editing the rule template saves you from rewriting every caption afterwards.

    Regenerate after a rebrand

When your brand changes, open the guide and click Regenerate. It re-runs the analysis on the original source rather than making you start over.

Good to know

  • One brand guide per brand, not per campaign. Campaign-specific wording belongs in the post's own instructions.
  • Deleting a guide does not touch posts already published.
  • If generated posts keep missing the mark, the fix is almost always in the rule template — not in the prompt you type per post.
