A batch call is one agent working through a list: you upload the recipients, pick the agent and the number it calls from, and Envox places the calls.
Each call is a normal conversation — the agent follows its instructions, and every call lands in Conversation Histories afterwards with its transcript and score.
Before you start
- A phone agent and a connected phone number. Without both, the form cannot be completed — see Agents and Phone Numbers.
- A CSV of recipients. It must have a
phone_numbercolumn.
Steps
- 1
Start a campaign
Click Create Batch Call and give it a Batch Name you will recognise in the list later.
No phone number found on your account means exactly that — add a number first. The campaign cannot be created without one.
The batch calls page and create button - 2
Choose the number and the agent
Phone Number is the line the calls are placed from; Select Agent is who does the talking. They are separate on purpose — the same agent can run campaigns from different numbers.

Upload the recipients
Under Recipients, upload your CSV. The
phone_numbercolumn is required. Any other column is passed to the agent as a dynamic variable, so anamecolumn lets the agent greet people by name.Add the columns your agent's instructions actually reference. A CSV with
phone_number,name,last_ordergives the agent three things to work with instead of one.Write numbers in international format, starting with
+and the country code. Rows without it fail rather than dialling something unexpected. - 4
Send now or schedule
Timing offers Send immediately or Schedule for later with a date and time. Scheduling is the safer default — it gives you a window to fix the list.
- 5
Watch it run
Each campaign card shows Total recipients, Status and Progress. Open one to see every call and its outcome.
A running campaign
Good to know
- Test with a CSV of two rows — your own number twice — before running a list of hundreds. The agent's wording is much easier to fix before the calls go out.
- People will call back. The number you dialled from should have an agent assigned for inbound too, or those return calls go unanswered.
- A failed row is usually a badly formatted number. Open the campaign to see which rows failed and why.
